Stephen Roney is Multimedia Course Materials Editor at Athabasca University, with responsibility for its Centre for Indigenous Studies. He is past president of the Editors' Association of Canada and former director of the Book and Periodical Council of Canada. Stephen co-wrote the two-volume editing text Meeting Editorial Standards (Toronto: Captus, 1995). He also taught for seven years in Asia.
