Program Mission and Goals: To involve youth 11-19 years old (to 25 in extended programming) in creating a safe, caring, healthy and adaptive community of support by sharing responsibility for recognizing, accepting and developing personal skills.

Program Description: Rainbow Youth Centre provides a comprehensive program of activities and services that help young people prepare for the transition from adolescence to a healthy, active and independent adult lifestyle. Youth can come to the centre to meet and visit with friends, ask questions and get information, listen to music, read magazines or books, use the telephone, work on their resume, or take part in other activities. Youth can book time on one of our computers, or participate in one of the many educational and skill-building programs.

In operations since 1982, Rainbow works with young people 11-19 in a variety of individual and group situations, providing skill development, educational, recreational and direct service programs. Rainbow is also working with young adults 20-25 in specific, specialized programs.
