The primary resource for the tables in this paper has been Spiral Dynamics Integral (SDi). The vision for the tables first happened during conversations with Dr Hamilton about the application of the spiral to a northern Manitoba reserve (personal communication, March 6, 2007). The information in Table 1 was also strongly influenced by my own work and background in Human Resource Management. I utilized the concepts from Stewart et al. (2003) to develop the other three columns in the table. I believe an individuals ability to be fully and productively employed are inextricably connected to their current life conditions.
