6.2 Beliefs Related to the Advantages to Use of OLEs

The coding of the data resulted in the creation of two broad categories one of which was beliefs related to advantages of using OLEs for teaching and learning FSFL. These beliefs reflected a positive attitude towards use of OLEs as well as an overall enthusiasm and acceptance of the new technologies and tools. As the following section will illustrate, many of these beliefs reflect aspects of the vision of teaching FSFL in the 21^st century as outlined in Chapter 2. At the same time, what this section will show is that while beliefs grouped in this category may be open to use of OLEs, they do not necessarily reflect an evolution in beliefs.
