STRATEGIES FOR TUTORS [2]
- Be aware of body language. Acknowledge
personal space. Sometimes speaking face-to-face or shoulder-to-shoulder
can be considered confrontational.
- Use a tone of voice that is supportive,
not
insulting or sarcastic.
- Try some focus-finder exercises for a
break from hard work.
