SCHOLARSHIPS/GRANTS

Scholarships in economic development for Native Students: The Canadian Northern Studies Trust will award graduate scholarship- valued at $10,000 each-to support native students enrolled in post-baccalaureate degree or diploma programs at a Canadian university, who will be commencing graduate studies on or after January 1990. Successful candidates' educational program will have special relevance to economic development for native peoples in Canada. Preference given on the basis of academic excellence, with work-related experience and leadership qualities taken into account.
