Finding Information Within a Web Page

Occasionally, you will encounter large Web documents that are crowded with text and links. Scrolling through these documents while looking for a particular link can be quite time consuming. Netscape provides a "Find" feature that will make this process easier.
  1. Be sure that you are connected to the Internet and the document you wish to search is displayed.
  2. From the "Edit" menu, select "Find in Page" The Find dialog box will appear as shown in Figure 5-3.
  3. Enter the word, or words, that you wish to find and click the "Find Next" button Netscape will then search the document for links that include the word that you specified.
  4. If you wish the search to be case sensitive, click on "Match case". You can also specify whether to search downward or upward through the document.
  5. If you wish to find other matches in the same document, click the "Find Next" button again.
