I have a medical condition called cerebral palsy. This affects the muscles in my legs. It’s been almost four years now that I’ve had a walker. For a long time I looked at the walker and just thought it was terrible, it was my downfall. The nurses told me I should be proud to be able to use a walker and not to look at it as a handicap but show people that I still get around. Part of my life now is my walker. Everywhere I go the walker goes!!!!! My parents and brother helped so much they told me to keep exercising, keep working on the farm. I tried hard to keep the farm but because my legs wouldn’t do it and I finally had to give up the farm unwillingly. I felt almost completely lost----I loved the farm----I loved feeding the pigs and collecting the eggs, the little tractor was hard for me to give up. The tractor was my freedom. Now I live in a nursing home called Carresant Care and I feel like I’m under thumb all the time. Where is my FREEDOM???????? back on the farm which is all gone. SOLD the farm is history.

Now I have to realize my freedom is an organ and a computer. I will never be able to walk normal again I have found my new freedom. Thank you Pete I just received my new gift.
