The happiest memory in my childhood was my twelfth birthday where I got my first tape recorder. The brand name was called Webcor. I was very delighted to receive it. I would be tape recording just about anything, especially the radio and TV. I also had a cat that I enjoyed playing with.

In the late 1980s, I worked for Parker’s Cleaners. The work was fast and furious and the heat in the plant was, at times, unbearable. The pay cheques were nothing to write home about. My next job was at a lumberyard that was a bit better.

I used to play in a band. I played drums. We played our own music. The most difficult event in the past I had to deal with was my mother’s death. She was a nice lady.
