Jennifer Jessup of Northern Secondary School, Sturgeon Falls, ON writes:
I have gained rewards while being a tutor. I am able to read people more clearly and tell how they are feeling by their body language. I have also learned that this may be the only chance I have to make a difference in this student's life so I should give it all I've got. Sometimes the road will be bumpy and some days will be frustrating, but tutors who are really serious will make it through and quite possibly open a few more doors to make education appear more exciting to all students. The most important thing I've learned is that every student has something to give.

A Beautiful Bride

He married her for better or for
worse,

He kept his vows to his lovely
bride, of course.

He took her as his bride and
together
They had a baby,
They loved each other and that's
no maybe.

They went together everyplace they
could go,
They done this for a long time,
even when they grew old.

Many times of laughter together,
many times they've cried,
But their love kept them going,
kept them alive.

One day he left this world, because
God called him home,
She was left behind for a year then
she died and she reunited with her groom.

Now they leave a son behind who
one day will find,
A beautiful bride, who he'll love
and want to her to be kind.

Yes, My Friend there
is a Santa Claus

There's a jolly old fellow,
Santa's his name.
Ask me again
And I'll tell you the same.

He delivers presents
To good girls and boys:
Tracks, trains and
Boxes of toys.

He dresses in red
From his head to his foot.
His clothes are all tarnished
With ashes and soot.

He's a great ol' guy,
That jolly old Nick
And if you are bad
He'll beat you real quick!

Where does he live?
He lives in a shoe.
Watch his old lady
She'll beat you too.

His reindeer are fast,
They fly through the sky.
Believe me, this is
No word of lie.
