- $200 scholarship to a single mom requiring transportation to Merritt for an interview for the Social Work Program
- $60 G.E.D testing fee to a low income client (who sucessfully wrote the exam and has been accepted into OUC)
- $100 Safeway gift certificates to a client needing assistance getting "back on his feet"
- $100 Safeway gift certificates to a Haida couple for their bus trip home to the Queen Charlottes to recover from cancer treatments
- $100 Safeway gift certificates to a single mom who escaped political persecution in Columbia and is experiencing financial hardship in Canada
TUTOR TRAINING

COMPUTER CLASSES
Our next Basic computer class starts in November and runs for 4 Friday mornings. The next "Word" class starts in November also and runs for 4 Fridays. Limited seating. Call the office to register.
