obtained in 1987, with Year 1,2, and 3 scores obtained in 1988, 1989, and 1990.
Pre-test scores for the two-year cohort were obtained in 1988, with Year 1 and
Year 2 scores obtained in 1989 and 1990. Mean number of contact instructional
hours per year was 212.4 for the three-year cohort and 181.6 for the two-year
