Households Living in Poverty

The major aberration with regard to the figures presented above is while they do indicate the Clarenville and Shoal Harbour communities have a high level of prosperity relative to the zone and province, this trend does not extend to low-income families. In fact, there are no significant differences in the percentage of husband-wife families living below the low income cut-off when all four regions are compared. 1
