Communities Served: Communities in the Parkland region, with the majority of learners coming from the larger centres - Yorkton, Melville, Fort Qu' Appelle, Esterhazy, Canora, Kamsack, Preeceville.

Program Mission and Goals: This program was established in 1978 to provide access to adults in the Parkland Region who need to upgrade reading/writing/numeracy skills for employment or personal growth.

Program Description: Programs are offered through one-on-one tutoring, and small classes. Additional services include: Computer-assisted learning lab, language instruction for new Canadians and individualized workplace literacy. Learners in the program are assessed formally, through testing, and informally through interviews and writing samples.
