Program Mission and Goals: To meet the needs of the community and bridge the gap between cultures.

Program Description: The Fort Qu' Appelle Indian and Métis Friendship Centre promotes and advances literacy primarily in two ways. Firstly, it offers tutoring to children who are falling behind in school. Secondly, it has books, newspapers, and learning activities for learners of all ages. Counseling is available. This centre is working towards developing a full time literacy program.

Unique Features of this Program: This program works with all cultures in an inclusive environment.

Program Challenges: Given the current staffing and finances it is difficult to meet all of the needs.
