Once the student is registered, important statistical information about the student is gathered using the LBS Information Management System (IMS). IMS was developed to capture LBS program data electronically. It is the only statistical reporting tool used and the agency's administrative accountability is reflected in the timelines and accuracy of data transmission. Attendance and progress are also recorded with this system. Statistics are reviewed on a systematic basis by the program manager or program co-ordinator to identify issues and concerns.

Please note: During intake process the student will participate in initial testing to determine LBS level placement (or OBS placement). Initial assessment will be discussed in greater detail in the section on overall assessment process. (See Initial Assessment)
